The Stockman Pod Trailer is the rust-proof workhorse that started it all. Its deep tub and lockable lid are moulded from the same tough UV-stable polyethylene as wheelie bins, ute liners and water tanks - so it won't rust, dent or fade, no matter how much wet, dirty or salty gear you throw in it. Underneath sits an Australian-made galvanised chassis, and on top a gas-strut Big Lid that locks down so you can skip the ropes and flapping tarps for good.
It's a tip-run trailer, a camp hauler and a touring rig all in one - and with a roof-top tent, racks and an awning, any Pod becomes a quick camper without losing tub access. No. The tub and lid are moulded from 6-8mm UV-stable polyethylene, so they won't rust, dent or fade - even living outside and carrying wet or dirty gear. The chassis underneath is hot-dipped galvanised, and the design has more than 4,000 owners on the road.
What's the difference between the Pod Trailer, All Roada and Extreme Off-Road?
The tub and lid are the same on all three; the chassis, suspension, brakes and tyres change. The Pod Trailer (tare 250kg) runs 6-leaf slipper suspension and 14" steel wheels for sealed roads and gravel. The All Roada (tare 340kg) adds off-road leaf springs, a solid square axle and 15" all-terrains for beaches and rougher tracks. The Extreme Off-Road (tare 440kg) has genuine Cruisemaster independent suspension, electric drum brakes, a DO35 hitch and 17" all-terrains for serious outback touring.
Can the Pod be used as a camper?
Yes. A roof-top-tent setup turns any Pod into a quick camper, with the lockable tub still accessible underneath. Roof and bike racks, Darche awnings, a camp kitchen module, toolboxes, jerry can holders and a 65L water tank all bolt on - so you can build it from a simple cargo trailer up to a full touring camper.
What vehicle can tow a Stockman Pod Trailer?
The Pod is light - tare from just 250kg - so it tows behind almost anything, including compact SUVs. Unbraked it's rated to 750kg; with the electric-brake option it's rated up to 1,000kg (Pod Trailer and All Roada) or 1,200kg (Extreme Off-Road).
How much can it carry?
There's over a cubic metre under the lid, with internal tub dimensions of 1,820mm long x 1,200mm wide x 650mm deep. Load capacity runs from 500kg on the Pod Trailer up to 760kg braked on the Extreme Off-Road, with heavy-duty tie-down points on all four sides.
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes - a 5-year structural warranty and a 2-year general warranty, on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Fitted parts carry their own supplier warranties, and the balance is transferable to the next owner.
